RE: beginning of The Universe theories
^ Two good answers in a row, and they're both from dogs. Who woulda thunk it.

Nah this bit is wild conjecture, the sort we need keeping out of the classroom:

Actually I'd define saying Jesus did die on the cross as a conjecture.

I see that invisible point you refer to.

I love the way you added the period and cut off the remainder of my sentence to change the meaning of what I wrote. Absolutely dishonest of you there Fr0d0. Jesus would be so proud of you right now.

Apologies pappy. The first line was the clincher, the second was superfluous to the point, which still stands.

Actually it wasn't Fr0d0. My statement was composed in such a way as to convey the meaning that he didn't die for the stated reason. Not that he didn't die on the cross. While I have my doubts that the person described in the New Testament was crucified, I don't claim to know that he wasn't. On the other hand I have no doubts about the last part.

I was talking about the origins first line

I'll consider debating the validity of the first sentence with you if you like, Fr0d0. However that doesn't change the fact that you deliberately altered what I said by adding the period to the end of the quote changing the meaning of what I wrote. I realize you probably don't care, but your post caused me to lose a good deal of the respect you had earned from me over the last few years on this and other forums.

I already apologised for the error pappy. I do care.

It's 3.30am here. I read you correctly first time. I clipped the quote to the period and just left it there not really thinking about it. Very poor of me.
