Abraham read the script, obviously!

Your old lady has teeth? Poor sod.
Gummers rule! :p (Rahul...you'll hafta pardon my old schooldidness. Raised in the North, my Southern wife has played hell schooling me on chivalry. Taken to heart, i tend to take offense when proprieties are breeched(or I suspect the same). This here wasn't my place or I. BWS...my pardon as well.) I've been drinking, and now blathering. Carry on.
It is deeply disturbing to know that an allegedly perfect and all-forgiving God punishes innocent people (e.g. all of humanity was condemned to hell for the actions of another). Even more disturbing is the fact that billions of human beings worship this entity of evil.
Abraham was ready to sacrifice his own son to prove his obedience to "God", yet billions greatly revere this man. Are we all insane?? Christians despise homossexuality, yet they condone that a father should kill his own son. What the.. ?! Christians often use the excuse that this was only a test. Well, it was. It was a test designed to see if Abraham was a complete submissive and obedient tool. What kind of test is that? God should have punished Abraham for trying to kill a defenseless child (as every Perfect being would), but that was not the case. Isn't this proof that Jehovah is a psychopatic lunatic? You mean the character of course. Hard to say. I have so little feel for who that character really is. Mindless natural force? Authoritarian leader? Projection of what the humans in the story fear? Frankly I couldn't play the role without more insight into the character. Just can't feel Him.
That's because he's the worst-written character! Even Sinbad could play Jehovah in this little skit.
