We do not yet know what the common ancestor is, but I imagine it evolved the same way all life evolved on the planet.

Also, you really need to get it into your head that beliefs can fall into a number of varying degrees of certainty. Sometimes one sides with what they have better reasons to think is true, and not what is nominally true. Do you understand?

Nope, those physical laws are a part of the universe. Try again. You're gonna need a shovel to dig yourself out of the hole you've voluntarily jumped into.

Why? Because you say so?
It's hardly irrelevant to the question of your two premises that "your" "proof" (i.e. the one you lifted from WLC) depends on. It fucking invalidates both of them, rendering "your" (i.e. WLC's) conclusion both invalid and unsound.
I'll also note that your reply here is fallacious question begging of the highest order.

...God created the physical laws when he created the universe, along with all the physical dimensions such as space and time. That's the point here those laws don't exist beyond our own universe, God is beyond them and not a part of them.

No not because I say so but because this is how the Christian God created the universe, this is the theology here.

I "lifted it" from ancient Church doctrine on the nature of God as the creator of the universe not WLC. Besides you haven't explained the logical inconsistency in this theology. This appears to hold up better than your alternative of a universe without a creator/cause which apparently began to exist by itself for no reason. Really? Why do you think that?
Quote: It fucking invalidates both of them, rendering "your" (i.e. WLC's) conclusion both invalid and unsound.
The alternative to God you're endorsing makes no damn sense at all and is easily just much your own opinion as God would be mine! Apparently it's not an opinion if it's your own opinion. One rule for you and another rule for everyone else eh?
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.

How do you know all this?

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House
“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom
"If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech

What causes virtual particles to exist?
Prior to one unit of Planck time after the big bang, what do we know about the state of the universe?
If you would like to debate the Kalam with me, I would be glad to.
The correct answers to the the two questions above are the only "debate" the KCA requires. It renders the assertions made in the first two premises false (or at least, unknowable).
We've here have been there, and done that many times before. The argument isn't even particularly interesting in light of modern physics.
Edited to add: Also - I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a fork.

This is what you are doing
God

Universe (Which contains its laws)
Nice try, but that's just an amusing aside.
