What makes truth more valuable than ignorant bliss? Is it not all relative and arbitrary?

The original poster provided several reasons for abandoning Christian faith. What made you take the extra step and abandon religion entirely? Why did you take the stance of atheism?

On your view there is no price to pay, at least after death at least. Ether way the same price has to be paid.
