Faith, Hope & Love?

But, most of you either think I have a ulterior motive for asking these questions, or some hidden meanings in the words I use/used.

"Hear me now, believe me later"! You will know when I'm being vindictive. It won't be hiding in some message or words.

For future reference, when I post a new thread its about understanding the mind, motivations and reasons of atheists. PERIOD

How often does your kind have to repeat this selvsering phrase "I want to understand atheists"????

You dont want to understand anything. You start every single worthless thread and every single worthles post of yours with a pre existing bias and an already adamant prexisting personal judgement and notion over what you think waht atheism is without ever throughout your entire pathetic existance going through the process of actualy doing even a shred of inquiery into the matter!

Now stop wasting peoples time by posting what you perceive to see when your stinking ego stares into a mirror for a few hours and then at something your ego tells you to be bellow you. Cause that stench just merely makes you look even more pathetic.

Maybe someday you'll learn to how to write those posts so it sounds like you just sincerely want to know. Here's an example of one way you could have done that:

I am wondering if the words 'fatih', 'hope', and 'love' mean the same thing to atheists that they do to Chrisitians. I'd be interested in hearing your take on those words, based on your feelings, not the dictionary, please.

Note the lack of mutterings about piracy, implications that the words have no meaning for us, lack of assumption that the words are trademarked by Dhristians, and lack of your personal speculations about what we think in general.

The last part of your post about the logic of these virues should have been left until you had some answers to respond to, as a way of stimulating further conversation informed by the replies that you got.

I don't think it's that hard to make a post that's polite in the first place. Your pattern seems to be post something rude, get beat on for it, and then whine that you were 'just asking questions'. You can do better than that, if you really want to.

I have complete FAITH,
that the Vatican has HOPE,
that they will never have to give up the gold they LOVE,
more than the poor and needy people outside their door.

Unless a time comes when these greedy bastards are
willing to model faith, hope, and love; then they should
not hold them up as a banner for their cause.

I think I'll take my lesson in generosity, brotherly love and kindness form Mister Agenda. I wonder if those words have any meaning whatsoever to Christians? The only reason I ask is it seems logically impossible to be both judgmental and narrow while also embodying these fine atheist values.

(I'm obviously in need of further lessons Mister A. I just thought it needed saying.)

@ronedee...

If you truly have FAITH in your god, and that it will provide for all of your needs, then please send me a link to your bank account so I can have all of your financial resources. I HOPE you do this soon; because I LOVE shopping online.

"polite" You're kidding right? RIGHT?

Have you read [most] replies here? Its like a grade school for idiot comedians.

No atheist here cares about anything but their own brains. You get as many different opinions as you get dialect of profanity.

And I'm the one who needs to temper his style with coherence?!

The lack of these "said" virtues is what I am driving at in this thread! Atheist don't want them! "faith" & "hope" are for weaklings, and "love" is for fucking.

Get used to my style. Its here to stay...until I get tired or bored of "you people".

Ask a stupid question(or ask stupidly), and get a stupid answer.

Something to that effect...

Because 'love' means nothing if you're not willing to mete out eternal torture as punishment for those who don't return it according to your specifications.

I would be more likely to accept this as a thing if there wasn't thirty thousand denominations of christianity out there. Just saying.

Oh, but you've got the true one, don't worry.

So essentially you were doing exactly what you've been accused of in this thread. Your denials of having an ulterior motive, of being vindictive, was just a lie. Cool, thanks for admitting it.

But see, you done fucked up, because telling me what I believe is the surest way to look like an arrogant sack of doorknobs. Those things, hope and love mainly, because faith is largely a useless excuse for irrationality, are human virtues, not exclusive property of christianity, and the weirdest thing is that every religion smugly dictates that they own all these positive emotions. Maybe you guys need to go to court, figure out who's actually in possession of these parts of human consciousness, so I can have just the one organization to tell to fuck off, here.

You aren't the first christian troll here, and you won't be the last. Did you think you were special?
