I was not wanting to discuss about whether they're real or not, rather I was interested in some insight (Considering Christian beliefs) as I said.
Beliefs people, that is what i want to know, what Christians believe will get them into heaven.

It depends which Christian you ask.
Some say that everyone who leads a good life get into heaven, some say only those who are truly Christian.
My understanding is that no-one gets into heaven as this place is reserved for God and his angels etc. That's the whole point of resurrection, you are physically brought back to life to face judgment and then you either live under God's kingdom on Earth or you are sent back to non-existence.
Again, it's all mythology.

Most Christians believe that to get into heaven you should accept Jesus as your saviour. Obey the ten commandmends, worship God and pray for forgiveness. In general, live a good life and worship God. All of this you will find in the bible which is the guide to Christianity. Question is though: Is the bible true? Did God write the bible? If not who did? Can I trust the bible to use it as a guide. I for one can't. The bible was not written by god, it was written by man. Most/many authors unknown. Therefore I see it as a man made religion based upon a fictional book

Darwinian is right, it is only God who can know.
His second dualistic statement is covered in the last verse I quoted. And again, God is the final judge, given the scenario.
Sorry Anonymous I don't see the problem. My first answer wasn't full. So sue me. The bible is quite clear: If you've heard and rejected, you're out, but only God can know. if you haven't heard, God judges.
Christianity equates to health. Living right with God is exactly the same as living a full life. Christianity is like a manual. Of course you can do it without the manual but it's a lot harder. In the end, you and I may know how healthy we are.

Frodo: if you agree with Darwinian and state that "only God can know" why base your religion on Christianity? You just agreed your manual is flawed so why not choose say Buddism or one of the many other religions? Each with their own manual...why do you think Christianity is God prefered choice?

Because that is only the Christian God. If you think all gods are equal then you're wrong.

I'm not comparing gods because I don't really believe in them in the first place. What I'm trying to establish is why you base your religion on an fictional, man written book. God did not write the bible so how do you what his will is? How do you know what you should do in order to get into heaven? If god exists then he would be a very complex being. Too complex for our understanding so why use a man written manuel?
