Maybe it's a sign that it's time to, ahem, reorganize your friends list.
I don't get the point they're making. they love homosexuality so long as its not marital? what? or they live homosexuals but not homosexuality.. and why do they give a fuck what someone else does?
grrrrrf
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

This is our current Prime Minister (and practising Christian) Kevin Rudd, answering a question on Gay marriage from a Pastor. Fucking brilliant! ( the look on the pastors face at the end is priceless) If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. I don't see anything wrong. "If that makes me ignorant, hateful and a bigot, then so be it."
Well, then so be it. They are ignorant of christian doctrine, yet they call themselves christian still. They may or may not be hateful, but certainly a lot of self-proclaimed christians hate gays. They are bigots for filling the last two clauses. That image works for me.
The trouble with Facebook is that it rapidly gets out of control if you are not careful. One day I realized I had over 800 "friends" on Facebook. That is ridiculous. I spent the best part of a day unfriending 650 of them and then wrote a message that said "I just unfriended 650 people I didn't really know. If you are reading this and thinking - who is this guy? Please unfriend me as I obviously missed you."
Now I am much more careful with accepting friend requests and as a result I get very few messages popping up on my mobile or tablet telling me someone I don't know just had a lovely cup of tea. Actually I later found an even better solution - Google +. This is social networking for people who don't really like other people. I hardly know anyone on there and never get bothered by messages. |
