I am aware of all the wonderful numerology found in the scriptures, when I was a Christian I was amazed. As an atheist I am not impressed. The numbers 3, 4. 7, 40 are all over the bible included in stories and myths throughout the text. Numerology is an ancient practice dating back before the Pythagoreans and Chaldeans so there is no surprise that the authors of the bible would use it.

Faith cannot be evidence. Faith cannot be externally evidenced. Faith has to be in the unknowable. _that_ I've said several times. This is logically consistent. (I won't insult Atheists by comparing you to them chatty Wink )
