RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Trying to figure out how I'll survive a week without my girlfriend. FOR A WHOLE WEEK.
Trying to write my paper but I'm too nervous about A) the paper being due tomorrow and B) my girlfriend traveling.
Driving around town in a thunderstorm singing Disney songs at the top of my lungs helped, though.

Always does.
I'm about to buy a vehicle. And I'm nervous about it. I am buying it from my dad, who manages a VW dealership in Daytona Beach, FL. I have to drive on Tuesday, and meet him half way, then drive right back.
I'm finally getting my Subaru, though!!! Getting rid of this pile of garbage Audi that has been through 6 batteries in the year and a half that I've owned it.

This... creature... just asked me "how did we land on Earth?" in a discussion about religion.

Anyway, I haven't been near a pool for something like ten years. I wanted to do an hour or so out of the two available for the public swim; managed about thirty minutes, did six full lengths out of the ten I'd set myself and then sat in the changing cubicle fully expecting to die. Fuck, I'm out of shape.
I like swimming. You still breath hard and get muscle aches if you are out of shape, but at least you don't get out of the pool hot and sweaty. And it's much harder to pull muscles in the water.
I'm afraid I can't see well without glasses either. But what I think I see tends to be interesting.

It's why I often wish I had my own pool. Quick dip before breakfast every morning, I'd have the body of a god. Which is more than God has.

Ugh I hate being curly some days. Actually most days.
I feel your pain. Growing up, I had women creaming themselves over how silky and curly my hair was; they were so jealous that I didn't have to pay for perms. But naturally curly hair is more curse than blessing and it's forever trying to do whatever it wants, bollocks to what I want it to do. Each curl is a keratinous middle finger to my self image.

Fuck all yous. I wish my hair was just curly. I have the one downfall of being an Oreo. My hair is a veritable brillo pad. It is coarse and takes all sorts of oils and potions just to look presentable. And the longer it grows, the tighter the curls get, and it ends up looking like a pubic patch. A thick, bristly patch 'o pubes.
So I don't wanna hear it. What with your European coiffures. Shame.

My european hair just sticks up... like my d...
As it grows, the weight makes it bend downwards... still manageable...
