I better stop asking for a "colour" TV when I go shopping!
They might catch on that I'm old! Hehe

Nah they might just think you have a nagging urge, to find out if Rachel Dolezal is a black woman in a blue shirt or a white woman in a gold shirt

See, that's just how good I am.
Quote:curious... why do people still refer to Digital SLRs as DSLRs? By now, a time when the grand majority of cameras are digital, why still point out the fact that you're using a digital camera?
It's assumed.
I call it a DSLR because that's what it was called on the box when I bought it (a Digital SLR) and because I, too, still have a 35mm SLR camera. Granted, I never use it anymore, but I have it. I also have a small, digital point and shoot (come to think of it, I don't actually know where it is...), so I have a few cameras to distinguish between. Not including the camera on my phone which I just refer to as... my phone.
Also, it's not that big a deal to add one letter to an acronym, I don't see it as a major imposition.
Sorting my photos has just been pushed to the back burner since my sister asked me to edit a paper for her by tomorrow... shucks. I wanted to look through them...

I was an early adopter of digital cameras, so my mind is a few years ahead of most people on that... sorry about it.
I'm still astounded that most hospitals still use silver plates for x-rays... when digital is available at a fraction of the running cost...
