It's all crap. I happily spend $10 on a bottle of shampoo and another $10 on conditioner purchased from a salon. Mind you, we have an actual, real operating salon at my school and I get a discount there, but professional products are definitely the way to go if you want your hair to be healthier.
I encourage everyone to do a test on their hair. Pull out a strand long enough to wrap around both middle fingers at least once. Gently pull it. If it stretches and doesn't break immediately, you have healthy hair. If you stretch it and it DOES break immediately, that means your cuticles are raised and your hair is damaged. Hey, I'm not paying $17,000 to go to school for nothing.
I'm happy with it and my hair is very healthy. It's very thick/full, but that's just genetics.

Mine just unravels itself. Even if I wrap it around several times, what does that mean?

I'm not sure I follow. Is your hair normally straight? Are you talking about trying to curl it? I need more to go on please

I just meant for the wrapping it around my fingers thing. My hair is pretty straight yes.

Oh, I see, you're trying the strand test. Okay, take the hair between your fingers like you would dental floss and gently pull your hands away from each other. If you feel stretching, you have elasticity in your hair. That means it's healthy.

I am so frustrated right now. I just went outside to start my car and it is dead. I am hoping it's just the battery because all I'd need to do is get it jump started. Nothing was wrong with it yesterday. With all the crap I have going on, this is the last thing I need to have happen.
I am totally without a clue as to why my five year old car, whom I have babied and taken care of, has decided to take a shit. Not to mention that I have no money to get it fixed.

5 year old, you say?
The average life-span of a car battery is 5 years... Coincidence?
If it's on even terrain, you can just push it (in neutral) a bit and start the thing by shifting suddenly into 2nd gear... oh wait... auto-gears... forget about it.

That's the thing. If it was the battery, none of the lights would be on and the radio wouldn't turn on. Also, while my car door was open, the rest of the locks on the other three doors locked and unlocked a few times. I don't know if that's relevant, but I feel like I should include it.

There may be enough juice in the battery to power those things, but not the starter.
Turn them off, specially the lights. Those things suck 55W each, the alternator can dispense with some 750W~1000W, but the battery peaks at 300W (when working properly)... and you need all the juice you can get from the battery.
I trust it just sounds dead... no weird clicking noises, right?

It was making a clicking noise when trying to turn over, but nothing else.
