Went out and bought various building supplies for an insulation project. I now have Absolutely No Excuse (well, except for the fact that we're going out for dinner in about half an hour) for not working on the project. Several strategically-placed bundles of insulation (IOW, placed where I almost certainly *will* trip on them if I wander through the room in the dark) are an additional incentive.

Why does this happen? Got the job, and I start on the 16th. Today I get a call from a place that has had my resume since March or April and they want to interview me, on the 25th. Better pay, benefits at least as good, working with a former co-worker and while they do oil and gas work, it's not all they do. Sounds like a no brainer, but I hate starting a job just to leave again in a month or less. Still, I have to think what would be better for the family. Argh!
