Slept in till 3:30 in the afternoon - about 12 hours of sleep. 
Eventually made it out to the back yard, where I finished cleaning up the rest of the old lumber. Also sawed up a large tree branch that had been broken by heavy late-winter snow -- the same snowfall that bent my Nanjing cherry tree almost to the ground, forcing me to flail at it with a broom to knock off as much snow as I could. (The cherry tree did survive and is doing fine.)
All my seedlings are now planted out in the yard, and the terrarium with plant light has been unplugged and washed.
I did go for my Saturday evening coffee, around 8:00 or so, but am planning to *not* stay up till 3:30 a.m. (or to have another 12-hour snooze, either).

Went to Yosemite NP, hoped to snag a walk-in slot at a camp ground. It turns out the park is more swamped than i’ve ever seen it. Yosemite valley is more like a crowded amusement park with long lines at each attraction than a place to commune with nature. The great outdoors is now just yards away from a moderate distant outpost of Starbucks.

Someone talk me down.
Please, I need a decent person to talk me down because right now I'm legit crying because I can't stand the people I'm related to. They are so close minded, so racist, so horrible.
Just this morning they have trash talked gay people, talked about taxes being a scam, and now are siding with the fucking neo nazis and kkk against black lives matter because you know... Black lives matter are racists thugs. They can be racist because "they hate us too" the ghettos are all black and it's their own fault. The prisons are all black because they are all thugs.
I had to walk away. I can't stand this. I get laughed at by them because I'm getting emotional. It's a "good debate and I'm a quitter"
How am I not supposed to be upset when my own family says such horrible things?

I just need to be in this community so I remember I'm not the bad guy here. I'm right to not be racist, to not hate others. Everyone around me is telling me it's my generation and it's our fault for being too "everyone gets a trophy" but that's not true. You guys agree with me. You guys, this community, is how I know that just because I'm the black sheep here physically doesn't mean I'm alone or wrong.

Just in case you're interested, there's a mafia game due to start soon and Aroura and Mathilda are back... so it feels like a family reunion... so if you came back, it would feel even more like one... we've missed you  (plus as always, looking for more victims  ).

Going in to work to complete a patient report and make sure my cover is up to speed with the patients who are booked in today, then I'm off to breakfast and a movie.

And yes, your family is in the wrong, but what can you do?... they've been brainwashed since children to be that way.
How you managed to bypass that washing up is beyond me! Congrats!
Keep your chin up and give the new generation a proper education on these matters.
