What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Waking up to discover that the new yard garden I started a couple of weekends ago and finished yesterday morning got fucking trampled overnight. Plants crushed and part of the little fence I put up destroyed.

1) I also had the same problem with the insurance that wouldn't pay for the Chiropractor but eh after all the Chiropractor fee is only $ 60-70
that is not a big deal after all and your back is more important than $60-70.
2) How do you know that the Chiropractor can't fix your back?
When I did my back I had the same feeling that no one could fix it but I was dead wrong.

1) I have three teenagers. We don't have extra money to spend on a quack.
2) BTDT years ago. He made the situation worse. Also went through physical therapy four years ago. I'm now getting pain management until the doctor decided it's bad enough to warrant surgery. The MRI I got this past Tuesday should tell us something.

Oh God. My philosophy group is reading the Rupert Sheldrake book originally released as, "The Science Delusion." I can't decide if I'm appalled or intrigued.

Gluing and screwing.

(don't get excited, minor home repairs)
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Hunt them down, take them prisoner and torture them to death by the slowest, most painful means you can devise.

Making them roll naked in a patch of stinging nettles is always a good place to start.   Big Grin

I opened up the crawlspace at the back of the house and crawled in there to check and adjust a couple of teleposts under a large beam.  Pleasantly surprised to find both the posts where they were supposed to be.  One was fine and the other starting to get a bit loose, so I snugged them both up.  Also chucked out some of the assorted junk that was lurking in the crawlspace and put it in the trash.

Also did some gardening in the back yard.  Dug up some weeds, raked the area smooth, and seeded it with a bag of creeping thyme that I meant to plant back in 2017.  Gave the back yard plants a good watering.  Happy to see that the transplanted rose bush has a bud on it, which bodes well.  Dwarf lilac still trying to establish, so no blooms this year.  Neighbourhood bunnies haven't demolished the lettuce yet.  Italian parsley, garlic and dill doing fine.  Still no sign of the rosemary I planted, so I may have to buy a seedling or two rather than trying to grow it from seed.

Too hot to continue with phase #2 of my telepost project (checking the posts under the front porch), so I came in and lay down for a while to cool off.
