holy fuck this thread is long!
Just got the report from the MRI I had done on my right knee. Fucking thing is shredded worse than I thought. I'm really hoping that I'm looking at repair, not replacement, but I won't know until I see the surgeon.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Here's the juicy bits from the impression -
Paperwork.
And writing up my notes for a visit to Devonport next week.
Dying to live, living to die.
Yikes. I had a bucket handle tear like that, but not nearly that bad. I think mine was around 2cm.
I still can't fully extend my leg. But that's because of scar tissue after 7 surgeries. I would get the knee replacement, if that's what they recommend.

I'm right behind you. The arthritis from 3 ACL recons, 1 meniscus repair, 2 bone grafts, and a hardware removal is already getting to me. I'll need a replacement before I'm 50. I'm just hoping the technology is straight up robo-knee by that time.
