Just did a bunch of yard work. Spring is almost here! Had to mow the last vestiges of wild onion, put down a metric asston of Weed & Feed, trimmed the edges and fences, prune my crepe myrtles, and started to pull out my Japanese Flowering Quince that is just the ugliest bramble shrub on the planet except for the two weeks a year that it flowers and looks amazing.

Also, I had to rip out my knockout roses as they got rose rosette disease. Sucks. Replaced them with azaleas. Not as pretty but hardier.

I used to do our taxes, until my wife started a business. She uses TurboTax, which walks her right through it. I haven't done our taxes in something like 15 years.

Hoping Ladybird wins the Oscar for best picture.
Haven't even seen it yet - I don't see many rated R movies these days because I have an 11 year old... but it was filmed here in Sacramento and features a number of local landmarks that I love.
