Having a hot cup of chicken broth. I've got a colonoscopy on Friday, so for the next two days I can't eat anything. Broth, water and popsicles for two whole days.

Two whole days?  When I had a colonoscopy they only gave me one day of prep to do.  The one thing I remember is how cold I was -- just couldn't keep warm, and spent the latter part of the prep day in bed under a pile of blankets.

I'm supposed to do the liquid prep junk on Thursday, but I'm not supposed to eat anything on Wednesday as well. It's a change for me as the last time I only had to do one day of prep as well.

Had some issues with Youtube either not playing videos or playing the wrong video or needing multiple tries to play it. Decided to clear my cache and cookies. It seems to be working properly now. It's a bit annoying I had to re-log-on to this forum, but the videos I've watched since then seem to be playing properly.

Back from a women's lacrosse match (yes, another), versus Niagra. This had some serious ebb and flow, and we won 18-16 in the end.

On the way home, I was approached by a guy offering me a blanket and asking if I had a warm place to sleep for the night. I'm not sure if it's just my crutches that trigger people, or wheter I really looked that disheveled that he thought I was homeless.

Waiting for this supposed snow we are getting today. My area: up to a foot of snow.

So glad I now have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

Trying to get myself into even more trouble logistically and linguistically by looking up more language courses to take. (I think I'm suffering from language withdrawal after my Icelandic course was moved to Monday night, causing a scheduling conflict.)

Front-runners are currently Spanish, German and Russian.

I don't know any foreign languages anymore. I studied mostly Spanish, with a bit of French, in high school. I took to French way better, but I lost it all. I flirted with conlanging (constructed language building) for a little while. I find anything within the conworlding umbrella intriguing, but it's time consuming.

I really like Dutch, in how it sounds and looks, but I also don't know it at all. I did last month go to a few Caribbean places that are part of the Dutch Crown, so Dutch is an official language there, and is written on all the government vehicles you see on Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. But Papiamento dominates there, followed by English, which is what Esperanto wants to be.

As for me, listening to jazz and waiting for the day to take hold.

Just chatting with another trucker who's about to give his dog "Bernie" a bath. This is the only dog wash that I've seen in a truck stop.
