Found out the Amazon Fire HD 10 comes with Alexa for hands free operation. And you can buy a charger with it that allows it to sit upright and function like an Amazon Echo device.

I am so getting one come Black Friday.

Watching the second half of the Steelers / Ravens game I started watching yesterday. Munching on celery sticks with ranch dip.

I like Playstation VUE streaming TV service for the selection of channels, but it seems to buffer a lot, particularly watching things using the free DVR function. I used Sling TV before this, and it never needed to pause for buffering. And Sling is half the price ($25), not counting an extra $5 for the DVR function which is free with Playstation VUE.

Managed to combine two Xtreme events this morning -- loading an F250 with half a ton of demolition crap, in weather that turned it into a Tough Mudder. Didn't slip on the snow and mud, or miss my step while climbing into the cab (did that once; fortunately, only my pride was injured), but damn near froze my hands when unloading the truck at the dump, because my work gloves were soaked.

So after I dropped off the truck at the rental place, I holed up in a Brazilian café for a bite of lunch, and then went home to take a nap.
