Just went for a walk around the ICU. I can tell I have a long recovery ahead but I can get around without feeling like I might die.

When I was 12 my best friend's dad was a slaughterman at the abattoirs . One night he came home with a live lamb. The kids made it a pet. When lamb became ram, dad sold it to the abattoirs. What a sterling person. No, not at all really. A gambling addict, he would bash the wife if she had spent money he'd given het the day before.

Huh I was just riffing on Angrboda's joke about sacrificing a goat for Jackalope's recovery. I don't understand your answer. Maybe I'm just tired. Off to bed, I am.

About to hit the road again- headed north from The Swamp towards talladega. It was a good trip, four generations of my family all together. Hell of alot of kids underfoot.

Now it’s off to see the in-laws.
