Along with other drug issues...meth has been a thing in the last several years, off and on.

Her kids were even taken away for a time and had to be tested because it was suspected they were in contact with the production of meth.

Her first SWAT raid was at about age 19.

I started a bass guitar course about a month ago. Currently learning how to improvise bass guitar lines around 12 bar blues chord progressions.

Done with work and since I took tomorrow off I am trying to figure out what to do. It's a tossup between sewing and sleeping. Since I am still sore as hell from the fall I took the other night...sleeping is pretty high on the list.

Watching baseball and performing a second count of the screws and parts which came with my new computer case. It was an "open box" item on Ebay. I had counted up the parts earlier today, but I had basically been flying by the seat of my pants, instead of cross-referencing things against the list in the online manual. As a result, I ended up thinking I was short 8 screws. So, I decided to go back and do things properly. It turns out that all the screws were present, and strangely, the paper copy of the manual included with the case itself has a slightly different parts list than the online manual. Oh well. All the parts needed to fully use the case are there. I can sleep soundly now.

Considering getting rid of the desk in my gaming room since it's just too big and taking up too much space, especially when I'm not ever sitting at it.

Will replace it with a gaming wall unit, maybe something like this:

Debating what to do today. I had a bout with food poisoning Wednesday and my stomach is not fully recovered, so I intend to take it easy today. I could cancel my ILS appointment, but I think it's better to try to get a little something done. And I've been depressed the past two weeks and not having my wits about me, I forgot to order my sisters' birthday gifts until last night. I expect we'll celebrate on Sunday. Fortunately, most of the gifts are due to arrive Saturday, giving me time to pick them up and wrap them. Unfortunately, I also wanted to get each of them a Visa gift card, and those aren't expected until sometime Sunday, so I may have to give them those afterwards. And one of the bigger gifts was estimated to arrive Wednesday, so I had it shipped directly to my sister's house. Checking on it this morning, it's due to arrive Sunday. I've made a right mess of things.

I've been looking at a new monitor for my computer, but I don't expect to buy until February or March next year. My top pick is a 42" 4K OLED TV, but mine will sit on the desk rather than on the wall. I like that model best but it's bigger than I wanted, and at $1300 it's a hunk of change (link).

We got word that somebody spotted my wife's adult son last night. He's apparently hanging out in the same area of the city but not the same places he used to.
