I just had a convo with Mac, my ten year old..about vampires. He expressed some confusion about how, if vampires couldn't handle sunlight, they could walk around at night? The moon is just reflected sunlight, right, he asks. Then he drops his big knowledge bomb....that he;s just read that energy goes right through the earth, and basically comes up through the ground even at night.
So I told him to leave his window open tonight to test the theory that vampires don't exist. Bet he locks that shit.

Deciding if I should cut this little bit of French toast up to share with the pups or eat it myself. It's pretty tasty but I have three pair of brown puppy eyes giving me the 'we're starving' look.
