Diving at the marine preserve this morning and we found an exhausted vulture floating in the water. It certainly would have perished if not rescued, so we brought it aboard, let it dry it's feathers and released it back into the wild. They are one of two species of birds that live on the rock formations at the preserve which can't fly if they get wet, the other being frigates.

Having an espresso. I had to excavate to uncover my espresso machine. I bought a lot of capsules, so it's basically zero cost for now.

In preparation for the rain and cold that's coming in for a few days, I went to grab my prescriptions. Since husband is no longer at his job and therefore insurance is gone too, I signed up for Medicare (finally) and used GoodRX for my meds. One was $35.00 when I had insurance and rest were zero dollars. With GoodRX the total was under $47.00. That's a lot cheaper than I expected and better than paying a monthly premium for an additional prescription plan.
Now I can plan to not leave the house for a few days.
I tracked down $180 that was missing. It was on a different credit card than I thought it was. So I'm no longer missing $180, I'm just $180 worse off than I thought I was.
Spotted three turtles this afternoon, two olive ridleys and one either a green or a hawksbill but I couldn't get a good ID on it. It was hiding in a very dark cavern and did not appreciate my light one bit.
Just finished snow removal for mine and two neighbors, 1 hour. New electric golves worked great.

I'm trying to restrict myself to necessary groceries in case my social security payments get hosed next month, but they had lollipops at the bank, and now I kind of want to get some.
