It appears I have been getting the cat high. Bought him a new scratching post that was delivered today. Put it together and rubbed a generous amount of catnip on it. He looks a little wasted after sniffing in it, rolling in it, and eating some of it.

Just enjoyed my first bit of greenbud in two-and-a-half years. It's dank stuff, and the buzz is good but not overwhelming, always nice. My hip has already forgotten about me.
Reading The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe. "Restaurant" is a hard word to spell but I've memorized it since reading this book.

Morning exercise and lunch. I woke up with some back pain, most likely due to an inadequately supportive mattress and not having exercised in a month. I'm expecting a $753 tax refund in August. It might be time for a new bed.

Weighing a lot of unknowns to make a seemingly impossible decision on a course different than 'stay the course'. Staying the course is not where I want to be. Fortunately I am gifted in the art of procrastination so I've plenty of time.

Menards has 40" Pelonis tower fans for $40. The boxes look a little roughed up. I picked one without any obvious damage. I may go back for another.
Watching baseball and sucking on some iced coffee. I have a doctor appointment at 10:00. I've been sleeping late the past few weeks, so morning came early today.
Scheduling my MRI and cardiology appointments. They're scheduled into November. Closer to then I'll be wearing a heart monitor for a couple of weeks. Guess there was no need to hurry after all.
Waiting for the deli to open so I can have food delivered. I want something hot, but I’m not yet stable enough to cook.
