Wondering to myself why on earth I stuck around.

My laptop has an issue. Nothing to do with the software, but it seems to have more to do with the laptop’s shell than anything that’s actually part of the electronics. Specifically, the frame seems to be prying itself away from the screen. The root appears to be because of this:

Dad thinks it should be easily fixable, but not with the tools we have.

Bad news: it’s going to take a week to get the part.
