New Forum: Angry Atheism

For me there are two reasons I won't join.

A: I am not angry. Not with theists, not with atheists, not with anyone.

B: He was acting like a spoiled brat and when he didn't get his way he threw his toys out the pram and started his own breakaway forum. I've already been in a situation like that. There is nothing there to make me conclude that he will not act in the exact same manner as he did here. I already had experience with admins from hell, I am not interested in joining another possible one no matter how much i like the guy on a personal level.

C: I hate dark coloured forums and can't be bothered to keep up with another one. This one takes up a lot of my precious time as it is.

I might be more inclined to go and investigate the forum if kyu was actually here talking about it instead of posting via proxy members. What sort of impression doe's he think he's giving with this attitude?

What a petty promise that was. If he doesn't want to be a part of the community I find it quite odd that he'd go out of his way to find and exploit loopholes to circumvent his own self-imposed ban.

Just to be clear, absolutely anyone and everyone is invited to join the forum. Not only myself but Kyuu also extends the invitation most sincerely.

AngryAtheism may be another community similar to AtheistForums and I do not deny that it appears to be "competition" in one form or another, but that could not be further from the truth.

At least take my word for it, that we have worked hard to create this community, and want nothing more then to work hand in hand with the likes of AtheistForums to promote communities for like-minded individuals.

I can completely understand if you guys do not wish to support such an attempt. I do ask, however, for your understanding that we are sincere and that we mean well. I apologize for any misunderstanding. Thank you
