Why would you look for that? Undecided

Because I'm weary of the usual high quality theist threads here and was looking to switch things up a bit.

I don't know, I got a few chuckles from it.

I will be waiting with baited breath for the OP's proof that Shiva the Destroyer does not exist.

Wrong. An atheist lacks the belief in any gods. That doesn't mean that there isn't a slight possibility that a god (whatever that is) might exist, but it's up to the theists (especially those who practise worshipping) to prove why their 'god' is the one, why it should be worshipped and why it even cares about earth and just one particular breed of ape.

Quote:But that very claim is to pose an absolute negation about a supreme being. It would be extremely hard to prove such an absolute negation. Even if you could look throughout the entire universe, which you cannot, and found no God, that still would not prove that God does not exist. It would at best prove that God could not be seen.

Hah, I knew 'witnessing' and hallucinations didn't suffice as proof! Tongue

Circular logic, very fallacious.

Quote:The Holy Bible is a record of historical events. These events show that God exist.

And my books by J.K. Rowling is proof that Harry Potter exists. Actually, Voldemort lives in my closet.

Quote:The saved have the witness of the Holy Spirit in them.
The atheists has the witness of the nobody.

The existence of the universe is a very strong proof of the existence of its Creator.
The atheist must try to explain it away.
All attempts have failed.

I'm going to regret this, but elaborate please. Because the quote above is so full of bullshit.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

That is one who hates God. This person looks at what God has done in the bible or what they believe He has done in their life, and says He is a monster not worthy of worship.

If you hate god then you believe in god and are therefore a theist. An actual Satanist would fall into this category.

Nope.

I believe the Quran is true.
It claims to be from Allah almighty through his prophet Mohammed.
It proves itself in many ways.

Also, circular reasoning fallacy.

I almost repped you for this because it is so wrong it was almost right...almost.

The atheist has no record of the no God''s actions.

And I think any attempt at reasoned discourse went to Mykonos right about here.

How do you like your piña colada?
