What are the odds of god being created by random chance out of nothing?

like i said, you guys love the word 'nothing'.
and that's what i'm getting to the question.

No its not. Nothing can ever prove that god doesn't exist.

'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House

“Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom

13.7 billion years old "as we know it" - since the expansion began. Standard cosmology doesn't claim creation ex nihilio. Even Krauss' "everything from nothing" hypothesis doesn't claim that there was truly "nothing".

wasnt god created??

he must be , becouse everything thats irriducably complex must be created...and god, beeing a creator himself, must be irriducably complex .

now, please tell us who created ur god, becouse all irriducably complex things r supposed to have a creator
so god beeing a creator himself , must be therefore even more irriducably complex.....so must have a creator.

haven't we gone beyond the cute little riddles? God is an effect. the principle of causality only applies to this U. like all the other physics.

Nobody knows how old or finite/infinite the universe is. But it's 13.7 billion years since the Big Bang.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Even the creationist isn't using a term like "irreducible complexity."

Why are you equating all god concepts with the bible?

I'm starting to feel for LionIRC if this is the kind of thing he has to respond to.
