Sadly first contact is going to be like that... They will be screaming demons because well they have the one track mind of humans being the only living sentient beings out there.

but back to the original statement: that the cell and the cell membrane couldn't have evolved separately since the cell would need protection, and the cell membrane would serve no purpose without the cell, and would need the cell for it's construction. No one on this board could show science (which I know everyone on this board is so extremely infatuated with) could present how this is possible without preplanning. duel simultaneous evolution, really? so after this duet, the cell finds an opening the cell membrane, closes the opening and says we're 'good to go'.

not germane to the subject. gee, we got videos - put a sentence together- but if the best you do, we'll leave there.

You are either not reading posts and links or you are just being stubborn and obtuse for the hell of it.
It has already been established that we can simulate early earth conditions in a laboratory and produce membranes, amino acids, RNA and anything else necessary to begin life and evolution.
It is somewhat difficult to compress billions of years into a couple, so it may be a while before we can create any major life forms. It is debatable whether or not we have yet created life. A virus, if I recall correctly.
Just because we have not done it, does not mean we cannot. 100 years ago, there was no way in hell we would ever get to the moon.

So, you ask for the science, get it, then refuse to look at it, but somehow still know that it isn't germane to the topic at hand, despite not having looked at what was presented to you at all?

wonderful. now, what about the cell membrane and cell evolving at same time but each dependent upon the other?

Current cells are dependent upon current membranes. That you think this must have always have been the case just goes to show you haven't taken the time to educate yourself on the subject you feel qualified to opine upon. I have no qualms stating, upfront, that I am no biologist. If you were even nearly as knowledgeable as you clearly imagine yourself to be..then why should -I- (or anyone) have to or be capable of educating -you- on some basic shit? You need to reassess, and it shouldn't take any specialized knowledge for you to come to that realization yourself.
