So? If I am not breaking any laws the worst facebook can do to me is ban me. Big deal.
Oh believe me, if one doesn't feel comfortable outing themselves, dont. I am saying however the more open we are the more things will improve in the future.

But you seem to be suggesting that unless you go on an aggressive warpath against theists, you are a loser. Each of us has our own way of dealing with the negative impacts of religion in our lives, and your censure isn't helpful or necessary. Yeah, I agree with this one. And I don't think that an aggressive warpath is going to change anything either. You really have nothing to offer as an alternative to fill the void that those..preachers fill with whatever they're selling to the people. Well, do you?

No, it's not facebook that will ban you it's an employer looking at what you say and decide they don't want you working for them that I worry about.
Yes I agree that the more we engage these people the better things will get.

Yes I agree that the more we engage these people the better things will get. I still don't think that you can engage these people with what you have to offer now. Evangelism is not very different from Humanism. It simply has a different take on humanism under different context. So you're not really offering them anything new, in my opinion.

My religious convictions prohibit me from being on Facebook. Alarmingly, this gives credence to religion itself being not all bad.

You know how you sometimes meet someone, and you have to ask yourself how they manage to stay so ignorant for so long? It's because everyone's too polite to say anything. Sometimes they're not actively rejecting something, they're just ignorant of it, many of us here were once religious, but eventually we came across information taht changed our minds. I would bet many of us voted differently after that change.

I'm always agressive in ideological discussions as you might have figured. However what I'm saying is, that your words will have little meaning even if you throw away your manners, because I frankly don't see anything that you can offer to these people for them to re-consider their position for even a second.

That is low risk, I never post on their facebook page and my co workers would not take the time to find me.
