I don't know about you, but I was VERY angry at Saruman- in the books AND in the movies.

The difference is, I was invested in the story of the hobbits, and it's harder to get invested in the fates of biblical characters. I have to admit to feeling some resentment at the way Yahweh acts, though, much as I feel resentment at Saruman. Which is to say that I think "that's awful, mean, bad behavior," and then I go back to whatever I was doing.

Ask the God of Heaven to show you the way- if He is real.

My perception is atheists are frustrated and angry because God does not come to them their way- on their terms. It is like trying to push a chain.
Doesn't work. But give the above test a shot.

Why? I did that years ago when I was wavering in my faith. Guess what? Nothing happened. God failed. He either doesn't exist or doesn't want me to believe that he exists. Either way is a huge fail if he wants me to worship him.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Hmm, aye I'll grant that Zazzy.

Obviously you can choose to do whatever you want but to me it fails the golden rule:

In the teachings of Christ we are given some ways to put God to the test. If we do as instructed we will have proof of God.

Drich,
i have no biblically based questions... as the bible was written by illiterate camel humpers in the deserts of the middle east a couple thousand years ago. the only question i have is why people in this modern age still believe in that crap

Because people follow the instructions in the bible to receive 'proof' of god and they indeed do find what they are looking for, despite what you think of the bible's orgins.

If a treasure map lead you to a treasure of unimaginable wealth would you dismiss it because of who orginally wrote it? I followed this map and I found the wealth it has promised me in this life.

Correction, it was written by literate camel-humpers. Illiterate camel-humpers wrote the gfjdyuerjan.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

the so called 'holy' bible isn't exactly a "treasure map lead you to a treasure of unimaginable wealth"... it's just a pile of contradictory trash written by many camel humpers and pedophiles

Compiled by an arguably manipulative roman emperor in a selective way to promote an agenda.
