All the problems with Christianity
|
Christianity is a conundrum for the mind which is its true purpose: To raise consciousness beyond the present way of thinking that is based on sensual (5 sense) evidence to a higher dimension we are all heading towards. In other words Christianity is not for this world but for the evolution of a higher 'kind' of being that nature is pushing us to whether we like it or not. Nature in the end has the last say and it has prepared a higher consciousness for us through religion but Christianity is the "transformational phase" between two kinds of beings or states of consciousness.

Wait. Are you pushing an idea for a new SciFi movie or speculating about the intention of nature? I'm not sure nature has any fuck to give when it comes to higher and lower. Optimization in relationship to a game board which keeps changing as do the other pieces is what evolution is about.

Firstruth: nature has a goal that is only self evident to those who have discovered her law within themselves: We are the best laboratory science will ever find to test reality. Sum ergo sum
Looks like anther theist doesn't understand evolution theory! What a surprise!
No firstruth, evolution isn't driving us to become a more advanced or perfect being. It helps us adapt to the environment we find ourselves in
'The more I learn about people the more I like my dog'- Mark Twain
'You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways.' - Dr House “Young earth creationism is essentially the position that all of modern science, 90% of living scientists and 98% of living biologists, all major university biology departments, every major science journal, the American Academy of Sciences, and every major science organization in the world, are all wrong regarding the origins and development of life….but one particular tribe of uneducated, bronze aged, goat herders got it exactly right.” - Chuck Easttom "If my good friend Doctor Gasparri speaks badly of my mother, he can expect to get punched.....You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others. There is a limit." - Pope Francis on freedom of speech
everything I know about God and Christianity is based on personal experience verified by science of my life that is also personal experience.
scientists trust their eyes to measure date, but a person who has had a religious experience is using all their senses as well as an inner sense that no person can prove to another. If they could men and women would get along and all kinds of people would get along because they could PROVE how they feel to another. If the inner experience means nothing, then what are we trusting to study scientific data? Maybe what we see is full of crap? Hear, not there, etc. Why put all your trust in your senses to verify something that is even 100 % sure and deny your inner experience of reality?
To quote Apo: "What a bunch of hooey."
