What are "Jews"? I'm offended by that terminology. My Jewish Persian American human friend is not a 'Jew'. He is a human being and New Yorker who happens to be from the Jewish religion. He is not racially or ethnically related to the Jewish Russian and German American humans who also live in NYC who are also just normal New Yorkers. He is tied by a religious and cultural bond - that's it. Tiny 1% genetic aleles do not make a racial or ethnic group. He looks Persian. Your racialization of a religious group is exactly what the 19th century racists would have wanted. Congratulations for making their dream come true.

When have I referred to the Jews as an ethnic group? I have repeatedly stated that they are a cultural group. You pathetic attempts to smear me are disgusting.

Arab culture: The culture of the Arab people (Arabs being defined as a linguistic group who speak Arabic).

And of course homophobia isn't unique to the Muslims. We frequently see it here in Canada & America as well. The reason I bring this up is because Russia (which has also been degenerating into savagery since Lenin died) hasn't attacked Israel, a country whose name is synonymous with sexual tolerance.

Also, I am more than aware about the homophobia coming from some religious Jews, which is why it is good that Israel is a secular country run almost exclusively by atheists who support LGBT rights.

I don't get it. So you don't think the term Jews denotes an ethnic, racial or even genetic group? So how are we sure that people who were labeled or call themselves Jewish human beings are related to the people who owned the land 2000 years ago? Perhaps as Shlomo Sand postulated the Palestinians are the likely descendants of the original Hebrews. Without an ethnic or genetic characterization its doubly insane to say yes random cultural Jewish people you should immigrate there because your culture told you its yours from 2000 years ago though you weren't even related to the region since really its just a culture with no ethnic connotation. Finally the Rabbis who control Aliyah certainly don't agree with you on the non-ethnic characterization of the terms Jews.

I guess we agree then. Israel should give up Judaism and Jewishness as important categories in civic life and just call themselves secular atheists -- and allow Arab secular atheists to join them in their safe haven away from the Abrahamics all around them.

Furthermore, this is the attitude of many Orthodox rabbis today, including the Satmar Rebbe. Orthodox Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, writing for the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, for the National Conference of Synagogue Youth (Orthodox), in his book "The Real Messiah," on page 21 writes:

"This brings us back to our original question: What can a Jew lose by embracing Christianity? The answer is everything. Christianity negates the fundamentals of Jewish faith, and one who accepts it ejects the very essence of Judaism. Even if he/she continues to keep all of the rituals, it is the same as if he/she abandoned Judaism competely. The Talmud teaches us, 'Whoever accepts idolatry, denies the entire Torah'. A Jew who accepts Christianity might call himself a 'Jewish-Christian', but he/she is no longer a Jew."

Rabbi Kaplan refers to Maimonides' Mishneh Torah, Avodat Kochavim 2:5 in support of his statement. Here Rambam states "adayin hoo lo yisrael" (he is no longer a Jew).
