Does any politician really want to be compared to the doge meme? It's mostly funny for using terrible grammar and sounding vaguely breathless. Aren't those the things we picked on Bush for while he was still president?

You're forgetting that these are people who are really out of touch with mainstream society. It's a wonder if they would know what a meme is in the first place.

My bad. I will never think of a politician as culturally competent again. Or as a person with common sense, really, because apparently this is real, and I can't conceive of how Steve Stockman thought that it was anything but an awful idea.
