So the infamous Walter White and his rather wealthy and famous split personality Heisenberg are both done cooking in the meth game... for good. What do you guys think of the ending of the series, and the entire series itself. I for one thought, and I'm going to sound like a broken record, that the cinematography was great throughout the entire show. I also thought that Vince Gilligan and the the other writers did an excellent job keeping suspense consistent throughout the entire series. I would like to read your thoughts on the show. What do you think could have been done to improve the quality of viewer satisfaction with Breaking Bad?

Breaking Bad: How great was it?
|
I would have liked him to get away with it .
I really enjoyed the show. Walter White was one of the more interesting protagonists (?) that I've seen on a television program, and the show managed to get the right mixture of humor and more serious content to be entertaining for five seasons. That's a rare accomplishment, since that's past the point where most TV shows go downhill and start wallowing in bizarrely repetitive plot lines.
The only 'great' thing about it is being over. Stupid fucking ignorant show...
I had a hold on the first season in my library for at least two months. Just yesterday, they finally called up my name. At most, I'll start watching Season 1 in a day, more likely a few hours.

I watched up until season three and then I lost track of the time it was on. I just rewatched the whole series and finished it, though, and I confess I feel like seasons 4 and 5 fell off for me. They were still good and the stories were very interesting but I didn't enjoy them as much. I don't think it had to do with the fact that I binge-watched the last two seasons, because I binge-watched season one - that's how I got hooked. I can only conclude that I didn't enjoy where the stories were going. I think it also had a lot to do with how many new characters seemed to be introduced in the fourth season.
I would definitely recommend watching the show, it'll be one of those shows, I think, that'll change the way future TV shows are filmed and written.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
I caught a few episodes - my brother watched it religiously.
I have all (mumble) seasons on my media server. I'll probably get around to watching the whole thing eventually - it seemed interesting enough.
One of the best TV shows ever made. I'll never forget it, that's for sure.
I'm currently watching episode 3. I'm starting to love it.
