Sex and an omniscient God
January 4, 2014 at 7:43 am
(This post was last modified: January 4, 2014 at 7:44 am by BrokenQuill92.)
God is supposed to be free from all "negative" human emotion. Well if that's so how is he omniscient? What about lust and sexual desire? If we are made gods image but he knows nothing about human sexuality how can we be of his image? How can he in turn know everything there is to know about the human condition? He cannot even understand our need to procreate/pleasure ourselves. This question is mostly aimed at Christians.

That is one of the reasons Christ was born into humanity.. So He could experience ALL of the same emotions and sin we are tempted by.

then god is not good, if he knows what all that fells like, and its "bad", the argument is automatically destroyed. God cant be good Period!
most christians will say "oh, but hes sovereign". Sovereignty has nothing to do with being good, pharaoh was sovereign, was he good? so what does that tell you about that?
Sovereign: I can do what ever the FFFFFFFFFU i wanna do.
thats all it means.
So how do we go about telling whether or not god is good, regardless of his omniscience? his actions!
god killed COUNTLESS times, what about satan? Jobs family..... yea i think the point has been made

it isn't in our nature to think of a God, it is in our nature to seek answers and the concept of God is most influenced in this world.

I thought the premise behind Jesus was that he was a sinless human.
And does your claim here cover all the sinful acts, or just the thoughtcrimes?
