Cant even get that far... the bible is not evidence of a god.. we need to first find evidence of a god..

Acknowledge he exists? Of course, if he were scientifically proven to I'd have to accept that.
Worship him? I think not. If the bible is accurate to his nature he is not worthy of my praise and devotion. I know evil when I see it, and if that bloke were real he would be evil and ego incarnate. RE: Would atheist worship The biblical God if his existence was proven?

It'd have to be some pretty serious evidence...
But, assuming all of my expectations are met, the answer is no. Two reasons: 1) I'd still be skeptical. 2) The Yahweh I've read about is kind of a douche, and I make it a point not to worhsip anyone, especially douches.

I would for selfish reasons, because I'd want to go to heaven. It's a stupid question though because it implies that somehow Yahweh can or is even likely to be proven. I think if Yahweh was real, we'd know about it by now in the form of him telling us directly that he is real.

One of the things that really shook me was immediately after I deconverted I found the talks and articles of Christopher hitchens, the one that got me is his article on heaven as a celestial north Korea.
