Going to church or youth group several days a week isn't just routine. No one made me go there. You keep wanting to redefine things that don't line up with your beliefs as something else. I left the faith, so it must have just been a routine or habit for me. It's not really prayer unless you already believe in the guy. It just sounds liek the no true scotsman's fallacy. routine has nothing to do with being made to do something quit the oppsite. a routine is something you do repeatedly on your own.
I get a coffie everymorning at the corner store. Hazelnut, with 2 french vanilla creams and one sweet and low. No one makes me do this, i just do it even if I am not thirsty or tired. It's just programmed into me.
like wise one can goto Church for 20 years and never experience God in any way shape or form all on routine.. If you are one of these people then it can be said your 'routinly went to church.. because you did not experience God we can safly say it was out of habbit and not a relationship you had with God.

Prayer (per the only example of prayer we are given by Christ) is Acknoweledging God's power and authority, Asking God's will to rule our lives/for his want and will to come first, Asking for our basic needs, Asking for giveness of our sin if we can for give others, and to keep us from evil.
Everything else is considered petition.
Well. This is like determining what isa miracle and what is not. I tsa fallacy

Which is a miracle? Winning the lottery or being healed from cancer?

it isn't in our nature to think of a God, it is in our nature to seek answers and the concept of God is most influenced in this world.

I guess I can say I didn't experience any gods. Not for lack of trying, but he just wasn't there.

Slot of the times what I thought were experiences were just misinterpreted in my mind from reality

Does that mean He wasn't there for anyone else?

If he was there, why wouldn't he be there for me? I was ready, willing, and able, but he didn't hold up his end of the deal. Relationships go two ways. I walked my half.

Quote:I have spent my last 20 years or so in church
That explains a lot. Get out of there and go learn some useful stuff instead of that jesus shit.
BTW, Luke 11
Quote:“Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread,[b]
4 and forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation.”
What kind of a fucking "deity" needs to hear that same shit repeated incessantly? Wouldn't there be some point where he says " I GET IT ALREADY....NOW STFU!"
Why does your god always sound like some two-bit local landholder with an inferiority complex?
