Why did jesus have scars from the crucifixion?

Why did jesus have scars from the crucifixion? Scars are results of the body reacting to injury in an attempt to heal itself, but jesus was divinely healed, as his entire body was supposedly dead, so the scars would have had to been artificially made, a sort of god's Photoshop to fool the ignorant jesus followers with faked information. If jesus' body had not been altered, just reanimated, he should have been Zombiefied with rotting flesh and maggots. Perhaps it would have been even better to have had an never ending supply of blood pouring out of his wounds as he walked along, that would have convinced them even better. But healed scars doesn't fit the magic narrative, the goat herder gospel writers just didn't know any better.

Yep, sounds like the deceitful god of the christians to me! The guy sneaked out of the tomb, hoping no one would see him.... then he had to come up with a way to make others believe that he was the one that had been put in the tomb... sounds legit!

One partial skeleton and partial nail and you say that the portrayals of the crucifixion are wrong, the evidence that was examined was scant and in no way can be used to draw a complete conclusion. It's been known for quite a long time that suffocation was a primary cause of death, however the account of Jesus beating and crucifixion would lead one to believe blood loss was the cause of His physical death.
