Has anyone been following Twitch Plays Pokemon?

I decided to check it out, everyone is typing democracy and anarchy... I'm lost.

Democracy and Anarchy are two modes for playing the game that people are supposed to select; in democracy, they're a lot less impulsive, but that means the game takes even longer than usual (20 seconds per command). Anarchy mode has everyone's commands applied immediately.

Also, apparently a group of haters did take away several of their most important pokemon. It was called "Bloody sunday." Of course, at least Bird Jesus and Lord Helix are still on the team. And they're still going; as I write, they're at the Viridian Gym. It can't be too long before it's done.

Democracy mode=Everyone types in a command and every 20 seconds the computer automatically takes the command that was the most popular. Repeat over and over again.

Anarchy mode=The computer takes every action in the order it's typed. Unfortunately, there are so many commands coming in so fast, it's impossible to tell who ordered what command.

It started in anarchy mode, but the switch to democracy was needed to get through a few tough spots. Basically, once a high enough percentage of people ask for democracy, it switches to democracy mode and stays there until the same percentage asks for anarchy mode.

What if... they picked up Ratatta?

For better or worse, digrat was one of the victims of bloody Sunday. If not and he was in the team, that would have been yet another problem since he could randomly dig them out like he's already done many times. Fortunately, they don't have any of those insta-warp moves like teleport, dig or fly (I don't even think they got the HM that teaches fly) on the current team and as terrified as everyone is of the PC, I don't think that's going to change.

So, wow. They're at the Elite 4. Venomoth single-handedly beat Lances' dragonite, but they lost to the rival (Blue, I think?).
