Kansas is low enough a legally married Kansas couple when they moved to Nebraska the groom was imprisoned.



LINCOLN, Neb. — A 22-year-old man faces criminal charges in Nebraska for having sex with an underage 13-year-old girl, although he legally married her in Kansas after she became pregnant.
The man’s lawyer said the couple, with their families’ support, “made a responsible decision to try to cope with the problem.”
Matthew Koso, 22, was charged Monday with first-degree sexual assault, punishable by up to 50 years in prison. He was released on $7,500 bail pending an Aug. 17 preliminary hearing.
After the girl became pregnant, her mother gave permission in May for Koso to take the young woman to Kansas, which allows minors to get married with parental consent. The girl is now 14 and seven months pregnant.

Here is proof that Republicans love money more than they love America

But the tax plan gives American corporations a $2 trillion tax break, at a time when they’re enjoying record profits and stashing unprecedented amounts of cash in offshore tax shelters.
And it gives America’s wealthiest citizens trillions more, when the richest 1 percent now hold a record 38.6 percent of the nation’s total wealth, up from 33.7 percent a decade ago.
The reason Republicans give for enacting the plan is “supply-side” trickle-down nonsense. The real reason is payback to the GOP’s mega-donors.
A few Republicans are starting to admit this. Last week, Gary Cohn, Trump’s lead economic advisor, conceded in an interviewthat “the most excited group out there are big CEOs, about our tax plan.”
Republican Rep. Chris Collins admitted that “my donors are basically saying, ‘Get it done or don’t ever call me again.’”
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham warned that if Republicans failed to pass tax reform, “the financial contributions will stop.”

Of course, if the republicunts showed some patriotism they would tell these rich motherfuckers to get lost.  Where are they going to go?  To the democrats?

Locals say Roy Moore was banned from the Gadsen Mall in the 70’s for ‘repeatedly’ hitting on teen girls

In a report by The New Yorker, multiple locals claimed they remember Moore being banned from The Gadsen Mall when he was the assistant district attorney to Etowah County “because he repeatedly badgered teen-age girls.” Two of the women who accused Moore of dating them when they were teens and he in his 30’s said they met him at that mall.

The claims come from a variety of sources — “five members of the local legal community, two cops who worked in the town, several people who hung out at the mall in the early eighties, and a number of former mall employees” — and many said they’d heard “rumors” about why he wasn’t welcome at the mall.

People are never as discreet as they think they are.  That simple fact is why I reject any of this shit about how every other priest in the diocese didn't know which ones were butt-fucking the altar boys.
