What makes the Christian God different from thr thousands of other Gods out there?

What makes the Christian God different from thr thousands of other Gods out there?
Christians will say stuff to Muslims such as "prove to me that Allah exists" etc, but offer no proof of their own God what so ever. THEN it's a matter of faith, apparently.

There are literally thousands of Gods out there the human race has worshiped. Christians ask for proof of all of these to avoid worshiping them, but when it comes to the Christian God, they happen to have to correct one out of thousands.

Why is this? What makes the Christian God correct and the thousands of others wrong?

Christians - alongside other believers in Abrahamic deities - are 99.9% atheists.

We just believe in one less 'god'

Because he's real! There's the book, and nothing in it has ever been wrong! Every prophesy ever written has either come to pass, or will come to pass! You just have to look deep within your heart, and have faith that this god is real. Not only that, but my personal views about this god are the realest real there is. Not only do you have to follow Jesus, but you need to agree with me on HOW to follow Jesus. That's the only way to heaven.

And if that doesn't convince you, I can start writing in all caps, with lots and lots of exclamation marks. What more could you want?

As far as I know Allah is just another word for God - I think the Moslem and Christian God are one in the same (along with the Jewish God). The religions differ in path you are supposed to take.

This has been caused by the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, moral God who, sadly, never took a course in communications.

He's ghost written a few books - but no-one can agree what any of them actually mean, which parts are to be taken literally and which allegorically. Sadly they also include parts with the sort of morality more appropriate for the ravings of a psychotic lunatic scrawled on the walls of his padded cell in his own excrement.

Christians have a relationship with the living God, I've never heard one of those other so called gods call to me, I wonder why.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Because your enormous confirmation bias keeps you in such an irrational tailspin that you can't see how deeply ironic what you just said is?

Every last one of your apologetics for why we atheists don't feel the same relationship with the living god that you feel can, with a few appropriate noun-shifts, be used to answer your glib little response here. Rolleyes

The basic answer is that it's a Jewish fairy tale and people accept such things without a second thought. That's why so many Christians express blind support for Israel. They could claim that their crap is manna from heaven and folks would eat it up by the bucket and ask for more. It's illogical but it is what it is.

Some preacher did convince his flock to eat grass, and they continued to eat it after it made them sick, so yeah. I agree with you there.
