I think this is one of the most banal arguments for the existence of God I have ever seen or heard. I actually thought this was a parody to begin with but nope, they do appear to be serious

We have a few evolution deniers on this forum too Judi. It's painful watching them choose a crusty book over the most accurate information our best minds come up with. They clearly make no effort to actually learn about it, because they are scared it will make it harder to stay in their fairy tale world. It sucks how religion promotes ignorance so much.

Sey talks in circles, using word salad, much the way a narcissistic psychopath uses word salad to convince their victim that they (the victim) are crazy. I'm still shaking my head. I remember seeing that when it first came out, and I remember, as a Christian, thinking to myself "this motherfucker is the stupidest motherfucker I've ever heard." Then I found out he was a popular Christian figure. As in, tens of millions idolized him. I'm not saying that contributed to my eventual deconversion. But I'm pretty sure it didn't make it any harder to deconvert, certainly.
