Well morally of course I have no problem with it. I've never actually managed to have a friend with benefits type thing. Even though some relationships that I've had have been fairly casual, they've always been some form of relationship. I think these sort of things are always more complicated than they seem, unless people are wicked good at separating the emotional side of sex from the physical, which apparently I am not.
Personally I also don't really feel the need for something like this. I don't have a problem meeting women and I have totally awesome female friends. (In fact my closest platonic friend is a girl) So for me it's unnecessary to mix the two. This is all just personal preference though, like I said earlier, I don't have a moral problem with any consensual relationships.

Yeah, it's not really that, it becomes more an issue of not wishing to get into a commitment.
That said, I met a guy a few weekends ago and we've been seeing each other and my mind is open to change. I think I was dating assholes a lot so maybe meeting a quality person will keep my mind open.

I'm always put into a situation where I could have friends with benefits. I must give off that vibe or something. I never have had a friend with benefits but there was a time in my life that that would have been far better than putting up with abusive boyfriends and crazy stalkers. I say it would depend on the friend, and that it would only cheapen you in their eyes if u guys wanted to be together in a relationship and he/she secretly crushed on you before you became friends with benefits. Hopefully that makes sense?
Also you totally have to be careful not to get a Guy who would knock you up to keep you. I've had one of those too. Be careful! And, if all else fails, I think Chtulhu said he knows a good place to buy sexy toys
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Its not quite as rare as you are implying. Its not for everyone - and I doubt most people plan it out that way (some do) but it just kinda happens.
Once you get part that initial period (say 25 years) it just becomes second nature 
I guess there's a family element to it. Her parents were together for about 45 years till her father died. My parents celebrated 50 years last January and we hold the world record at 30 years, also in January.
Oh - and if you are wondering why we hold the world record with only 30 years I told the Guinness Book of Records it was a one night stand. She woke up first and made breakfast, I was hungry, the rest is history.
