Well yes interesting, but the real-world application of the law in Australia would be that exposing a child under the age of 18 to pornography is a criminal act, whereas allowing them to see an R-rated movie (legally restricted to adults) is not.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

I'm not into it, but I'm pro animal marrying. This animals can't give consent is bullshit, they can't don't get me wrong, but we KILL and EAT them WITHOUT their consent all the time. But when it comes to marriage we are going to say an animal needs to consent? I call bullshit.

That's a strange and nonsensical thing to compare to a mutual contract between two beings.

Why does the contract have to be through conventual means of communication. Can a blind and deaf person with no hands or feet get married yes or no?

Not really, the point is that you and other people mentioned that the reason a man can't marry a horse is because a horse can't consent. But requiring that a horse consent to marriage is ridiculous when you contrast it against the myriad of other things we do to horses without their consent that tend to be more horrible than marrying a horse (but lets be real, the real issue is fucking a horse). Have you ever ridden a horse before? Did it consent to you riding it?
