Funny thing about theodicy

Not really looking to get into a debate about star wars lore here (although on another thread, I am huge star wars EU geek) . Just making the point that good or evil tend to be a matter of perspective and incomplete information. The new books don't try to make him good, in fact to a large extent they abandon the good vs evil vibe altogether. They just make all the characters relatable.

Oh, I gotcha. But thinking too hard about fictional things is kinda my jam.

Huh. I knew there were a lot more books with the Star Wars characters involved .. but who writes them? Are they fan fiction or are they all the work of one author?

They're all official and they are fucking awesome. There's three main series and a bunch of standalones. Different authors. The best is the legacy of the force series which is set sometime after the vong war and is set around the galactic civil war. The skywalkers (luke, his wife and their surviving kids) end up on opposite sides to the solos (Han, leia and theirs.)

It's awesome.
