Ahh, bite my arss

You don't need to know and you can't know where they are 24/7. That's absurdly totalitarian and your kids would hate you for trying.
If the hypothetical idea of an afterlife means more to you than the objectively true reality we all share, then you deserve no respect.

I doubt she'll win. I think she's just butthurt that they filed a lawsuit against her for killing their son. Why isn't she in jail? It looks to me like she was drink driving, as her police officer hubby made a point of not breathalising her at the scene, something which he would have known is important after an accident, and she may have been on her phone? I bet she hasn't even lost her driving licence.

What is this "emotional stress" she's feeling? The article says she's been suffering from PTSD, depression and anxiety and shit, but over what? It's clearly not guilt, if she's suing the victims' families. Is it because she was nearly hurt? Or because the boys dented her car when she hit them? Boo fucking hoo. A decent human being would also be stressed, anxious, and depressed, but they wouldn't be suing the families, they'd be grovelling to them for forgiveness, even if there was nothing they could have done to prevent the accident, because that's how good people react to accidentally harming others. We feel guilty.

I'd buy the emotional stress more if she was handing them money, instead of trying to take their money. Paying for hospital or funeral bills out of pocket.

She's probably not in jail just because of her cop husband. They often protect their own.

Way to deescalate the situation, Losty! A+!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I always did take the "make lust not war" thing a little too literally :p

That's how it goes right? :p

No it was my fault, I was talking about small children, I didn't realize the kid was in his teens, so yes you are right in that sense.

Just wow. I want to know if she actually wins and damages the victim's family more. I've heard about burglers sueing the people they tried robbing, but this is really pushing it.
