RE: Why the Highs Boson can no longer be called the God particle...

Well we can run back and forth on this one all day. The link I provided indicates that the March 14th conference confirms the new boson to be the Higgs.
You say otherwise - I don't really have a horse in this race.
From your link:
"The preliminary results with the full 2012 data set are magnificent and to me it is clear that we are dealing with a Higgs boson though we still have a long way to go to know what kind of Higgs boson it is,”
I suppose we will find out for 100% certain soon.

My "link" - I linked to CERN the institution researching the 2012 observation and the one that's made all the statements about what it is and isn't - everything else is an interpretation of what CERN said...
I reiterate, they are confident that they observed a boson, and that it may have been a Higgs boson, but as yet it is unconfirmed to be a Higgs boson.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

Bit more up to date. Note the opening statement:
"At last year's Moriond conference, CERN physicists announced the retirement of the "Higgs-like" particle and the arrival of "boson, Higgs boson"."
