Pro-life atheists

Ah yes, that's right: you'll only stop ducking my arguments when I put them in green. Rolleyes

So you've swapped one equivocation for another, here; the reason it was wrong to kill native americans is because they were people, they were conscious and sapient, something that a fetus is not. Your claims of our position being arbitrary are simply incorrect; from the very beginning we've been telling you that the dividing line is personhood, consciousness, not mere genetics.

Strawmanning us is bad, Heywood. Especially from a guy that doesn't hesitate to call out others on perceived fallacies. Dodgy

I'm sure the people who thought it was okay to slaughter Native Americans felt anyone who told them it was immoral because they are persons was also liar.

Calling someone a liar and yourself a truth bearer is not a good argument.

If you want to know what a human being is.....it is being or organism of the same species as you and I. Since you like to google....google "organism".

This is your big concern in your fight for human justice? Pick your battles man. Actual people are suffering to worry so much about the little thing inside a woman that eventually becomes a human baby.

I read this post, but since it doesn't appear to be of the nature of official mod, I won't bother responding to its content.

When are you going to get it? I'm not interesting in debating with you Esquilax. I have given you several chances but you keep employing low-brow insulting tactics.

Maybe when you mature a bit we can have an honest discussion.

Seriously Heywood?

Why isn't a skin cell considered an organism?? Because on its own it cannot survive!

A skin cell is not a contiguous living system. It is a component of a contiguous living system.

As is a fetus until it's born. Afterwards, it certainly becomes one. I will grant that it technically becomes one at viability.

There are single cell organisms, you know. They can all survive on their own.
