Just out of interest, because I never cared to search through an old book for permission for sexual things, is there an actual unambiguous prohibition of masturbation in the bible? Or is this another one of those things where they take vaguely intersecting single verses from disparate books and use them to construct a patchwork interpretation based on whatever's convenient at the time?

If I'm not mistaken most religions condone masturbation and sex for mere pleasure because it doesn't contribute to procreate children... If this is true, then I'm fucked if any god turns out to be right, meh I think everybody is, even the so called Christians have sex for fun, they can't tell me they actually only banged to have kids.

There's something deeply perverse there; you'd probably spend more time thinking about masturbation when given a gift like that than if they just let you go at it. They seriously wanted you to write about it?

The sad part is, at that time, it only served to make the idea of masturbation even creepier and to increase the shame I felt about thinking about sex so much.
