If I come across as arrogant, that bothers me, ...alot.

Yesterday, I followed a link on this forum which listed out many reasons why Darwin's theory is false.
Yes, it was by a pro bible lobby group... But now it's got me asking more questions.

Like:
Why can't we create life in a lab from scratch using elements and energy alone?
How could any animal evolve wings? (Without a predetermined outcome)
If DNA won't allow one species to evolve from another, what of evolution?

I need to question everything! Even my own existence!
Too much information is good ... To little leads to false conclusions.

Welcome! Catholicism can be pretty polarizing. I was raised by a lapsed Catholic who is now a Gnostic Atheist, but not anti theist. Interested in hearing what you have to bring to the table!

i was born into a catholic family who kept wandering through religion trying to find its home. eventually that led me to atheism and led my parents to evangelism! crazy for crazier.

i attribute my liberation from religious oppression to my dear husband and Penn Jillette, seriously. then they opened me up to all kinds of wonderful freedoms and thoughts that i never would have had otherwise.

they also made me a libertarian, but don't hate me for that.

anyway, here i am. i hope to contribute something, but mostly i hope to learn from you and the community and continue to expand my mind!

As to starting up as catholic, I disagree. You probably, as me, have been born atheist, but fed with bullshit when you were a child. Takes time to get used to, as one is forced by reality to weed out the bullshit.
